This study – The working class conditions in Albania (II) – is a result of a two-year-long attempt by the Institute for Institute for Critique and Social Emancipation (ICSE) to depict a broad picture of the conditions of what one might still call the working class of Albania. The analysis is based upon interviews and focus groups with workers from various sectors of the industry in Albania. The questions posed have been of a quantitative as well as a qualitative nature, aiming to obtain relevant data regarding the working and living conditions, and at the same time the workers’ ideological understanding and worldview.
