Information about applications for projects with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Southeast Europe for 2017
Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS) is a left oriented, non-profit organization operating internationally for political education and which is associated with Germany’s »Die Linke« (Left Party). With funds from the German Ministry for Foreign Affairs, RLS office for Southeast Europe supports non-profit organizations in Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia, Slovenia and Romania, conducting projects which:
- strengthen organizations that represent workers, women, Roma and LGBTIQA groups engaged in social rights advocacy and the building of networks for self-organization;
- develop alternative policies, based on social justice and democratization, to the dominant social, political and economical model in the region;
- contribute to the elaboration of a differentiated and critical discourse on the history of the left in the region.
RLS has capacity to cooperate with a maximum of 15 non-profit organizations from the whole region on an annual basis.
Organizations who are interested in RLS funding during the year 2017 should contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a template for a »Letter of Intent«.
The completed »Letter of Intent« has to be sent to the same email address by 11th July 2016, latest. Please note that we will not consider »Letters of Intent« which are sent after this date. Organizations whose projects are selected will be contacted by RLS until 31st July 2016.
